Contact Us if you would like to volunteer as the Team Lead

The Media Team (formerly Photography) has been created to make sure that we get high quality photos and videos of the art, burns and participants at Euphoria. Photography is a little different. You can sign up for a shift if you want, or you can just wander around taking cool pictures on your own. The shifts we list are for specific things we would like photos or video of.

Basic responsibilities for a photographer are simple: Take pictures. Respect the members of our community who don't want to be photographed. Post the photos in public so that everyone else can see them. Provide contact info with the photos. Take down any photos upon request of the people in those photos.

Want to be extra helpful?  We have a few specific things we really need help with:

Art photographers

There's a whole lot of cool art at Euphoria.  We need more good pictures of it.  Sign up for a shift as an art photographer and wander around taking pictures of it.  Art team will provide a list of art installation we know of, and guidelines on when to shoot it (some stuff may be day or night specific)

Conclave photographers

There's a lot of people spinning fire before the burn.  They always need more people to take cool photos.

Effigy burn photographers

Pretty simple.  Big thing is burning.  Take pictures of it.

Temple Burn Photographers

If you’re up that early (of that late)

Sunset photographers

When the sun is setting and the light is right, everything just glows and it’s beautiful. When that happens, we want to see it.

  • Set up a volunteer schedule in coordination with the volunteer coordinator.

  • Attend the daily Team Lead meetings during the event.
